Umar Musa Sembiring’s main expertise is dispute resolutions and corporate matters. He has the competence in handling various commercial and private dispute cases, i.e., Land and Property Dispute (executing a land-return over 4000 m2 residency area with a friendly strategy and succeed), Litigation (State, Religious, Constitution, and Administrative Court), Non-litigation or Alternative Dispute Resolution as well as Criminal dispute.

In corporate matters, he has the competence in reviewing and finalizing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU), Partnership Agreement for Indonesian forestry company as well as labour & employment legal documents.

He started his career and sharpened his career as Associate and Legal Assistance in an excellent pioneer law firm Sulaiman N. Sembiring & Associates (SSA), right after he finished law study in Parahyangan Catholic University. In his prior law office, SSA, he handled almost every case with various sectors but mostly forestry, directly with the managing partner.
